About Us

Hello and welcome! I’m Amanda Baumgarten, the artist behind Petal House Prints located in Elora, Ontario.

Ever since I was a little girl picking spring lilacs and autumn wildflowers, bringing fresh blooms inside has been my favourite way to make my space feel beautiful, serene and elegant. Living in Canada—where fresh garden blooms are a seasonal luxury—painting became my way to bring that warmth, colour, and feeling of sunshine indoors all year long.

Most days you’ll find me in my breakfast nook working on a painting, layering vibrant colours of acrylic paint, reimagining florals and colourful fruit, and getting swept up in the joy of creating something beautiful. My mission is simple: to share the joy I feel while creating, and to help you bring a touch of timeless, serene beauty into your own home.

If you want a closer look at what goes into each piece of work you can follow me on Instagram, where I share behind-the-scenes videos of my painting process, new collection releases, and even some “day in the life” videos - five chickens, two dogs and a guinea pig included!

I'm so glad you’re here,

Amanda
